doudah
These are a few cuties that I made with my own hands, with a sort of super light-weight modelling clay => Doudah.
You can buy the clay on e-bay.

flying pillow
My DT (dear therapist) suggested that it would be good for my children (I have two (3 and 6)), to sleep in very comfy beds, that way they would sleep very well and be protected from whatever happened that day. I softened their beds...
And I remembered a felt kit that I bought awhile ago, but still hadn't made.
Result: this snuggly flying pillow (how's that for comfort!)
I will hang it next to their beds and hope it will have similar effects.
The pattern for this kit was made by
Atelier Pippilotta. Their site is in dutch....

Funky Bunny (alien)
Although I made this little bunny about a year ago, I am going to post this now. I just needed to show you guys. It was my first amigurumi project and my first introduction to the world of crochet. Amigurumi is so simple and you get great results. Thanks to Lion Brand for the free pattern and the great tutorial. You'll find loads of free patterns on that site.

learning to draw
This weekend I followed a very short course on how to draw.
The teacher said that anyone can learn to draw in two weeks.
We'll see about that, I thought...
Anyway, these are my first.
Everyday I will spend 15 minutes drawing something.
I will probably not post them everyday...
But I do hope I will improve.

good ol' socks
If you're sick of making sock monkeys out your old socks, you could always make a sweater/dress for your daughter's Barbie.
I learned it all on:

easter is in the air...
It's almost Easter and it's all about bunnies, chickies, and eggies.
Here you can see a felted chickie. It was the first time I made felt with the washing machine. I made balls of loose wool, stuffed them in a nylon stocking (seperating them by knots) and then together with my dirty laundry.
Such a fascinating technique...
